This is what we got yesterday:

PD-16 Plenax
Agfa Ansco Corporation, Binghamton, NY.
1930’s
Lens: Hypar Anistigmat f6.3 103mm
T B 25 50 100
616 film
2 1/4 x 4 1/4 in.
One of those was sold on e-bay relatively recently for $85. Is there any possibility that one can find a stash of the old film used in this camera so I can give it try?

Great! Thank you.
If that doesn’t work, one of the big camera stores in New York (e.g., B&H, Adorama) might be able to help.
The film size for roll film would be determined by the width of the negative, not the length. I have no idea what 616 film is. But the 2-1/4 width is standard ol’ 120 film . You know, Hasselblad size. (Maybe 616 was just a longer roll to accomodate the longer frames and get a reasonable number of pix on a roll.)
If that doesn’t work, try a Holga.
I love the camera. 🙂 I am into camera-photography.
