I thought the science blogs were a good idea, but they are becoming more and more a front for using science for political and anti religious rants. For example, you are a “Jewish” atheist. So frigging what!?!?
How does that help science education?
Are these blogs going to be about SCIENCE or not?
If not, there are plenty of other places to go.
“Science”, by the way, does NOT equal “Atheism”, whatever PZ Myers tries to tell you.
Come to think of it, where are HIS peer reviewed publications?
Is he working toward these blogs counting as PEER REVIEWED literature.
As for you, maybe you should work more on your thesis than these blogs.
There are 1000-2000 science blogs out there (more if you count in medical, environmental and techie-nerd blogs). You choose those that you like. Nobody says that you have to read PZ or me. Nobody says that science=atheism, either, but religious assault on science in the US is a reality that we have to address. Good luck with your PhD.
Actually, PZ does say that science equals atheism; so does Dawkins, Dennet, Harris, etc.
Who ya kiddin?
And true, there are a lot of science blogs out there, but the deception is calling a blog a SCIENCE blog when it is NOT a SCIENCE blog.
