Can it get any better than this! The Five Fists of Science, starring Mark Twain and Nikola Tesla in a race to save the world from Thomas Edison and J.P Morgan! I immediatelly pre-ordered the book and can’t wait to read it.
Update: I just got an e-mail from Amazon that the book is finally out and that my copy has been shipped. I’ll be able to read it just in time for the celebration of Tesla’s 150th birthday on July 10th.

I’m slogging through it during my sessions on my stationary bike. It’s pretty slow going (both the biking and the story 🙂 ). I think the art is a little too muddy to read clearly, and I don’t necessarily agree with the characterizations, but there’s nothing terribly objectionable about it (so far).
How did you get it so early?
Yay! I just got my e-mail too.
This reminds me of the short story “The Eyes of America” by Geoffrey A. Landis, which features Tesla, Edison, Twain, and William Jennings Bryan. It’s available online here.
