Classroom Blog

I am starting my BIO101 for adults course again on Monday and this time I am deteremined to use a blog in the classroom. To begin with, I copied my lecture notes here (still needs some fiddling and editing before Monday) and we’ll see how it works out.

  1. I’m keen to know how this is going to go.. especially how/if the blog is able to promote discussion of important/complex/difficult issues.
Also- you will plan to use it for enrichment type activities- like posting interesting articles/news?? Please keep us posted. This is something I will do next class I teach.

  2. An excellent pedagological move.
Next, we look for blogs to count as PEER REVIEWED literature.
Then you and the likes of PZ Myers will have it made.

  3. It looks like a great resource. I don’t know if it is just my browser, or perhaps my eyes but the colour scheme and the font size make it rather difficult to read.
I will certainly look at doing something similar in the future .
