lol 🙂 So right. The video actually shows why McCain chose S. Palin and not M. Palin. M. Palin is smart, educated and knowledgeable. Which basically means unelectable. Bush shows that being dumb attracts more voters than being smart.
The US is the only country I know where being dumb and making a fool out of yourself is not a bad thing. Why is that?
Maybe you’re too egalitarian? Everybody knows that they could be president, at least in theory. That idea is reinforced if the person who gets the job is like them. People want someone like themselves and their neighbours, not someone better than themselves.
Which is wrong on so many levels. I know more about economics, foreign policy, environment, gender issue, etc., than Sarah Palin but I don’t think I am qualified to be on the City Council, certainly not in the White House. There is this thing called realism.
