Epic FAIL Response Curve (EFRC)

What is the mathematical description of the treshold point at which any old generic FAIL suddenly becomes Epic FAIL? Is there a similar curve (EWRC) for WIN?

    I’m not sure, but I do know that the insufficient supply of sandwiches last week bordered on epic fail, at least for those of us who were behind the raging horde of teenage boys.
