Who is missing? All of those written in languages other than English. Anthropology, for those who needed to be reminded, is not and never was an English-only field.
That is correct and goes without saying. This was intentionally made as a Top 100 English-language blogs, I understand, as people assembling the list could not assess blogs in all the world’s languages.
Yes, it does go without saying, in fact it’s not even mentioned as a fact, so you’re right. I doubt they were able to really assess the blogs in English either, and I say that as an anthropology blogger who writes in English. I have no idea what the basis for assessment of “top” was either.
