Geeze, ain’t that the sad truth.
Tell that to some paleontologists… notions of species concepts, homology of structures, etc, sometimes with no mental space for revision in the face of overwhelming data from developmental biology. Sheesh!
Ha! Funny, I had a similar experience with palaeo folks not getting implications of devo (and evo-devo).
